Promise Me by Melanie Walker 

Even though this is a short story, it still involves the characters of the previous books. Oh, and it still pulls at your heart!! Just when you think all is well and fine... ugh! I have a serious love/hate relationship with this series. I've wanted to throw my tablet a number of times, but luckily I didn't, or else I wouldn't be able to finish the books! Now, I'm onto the next one in hopes that there is some closure!
