Asher (Inked Brotherhood #1) by Jo Raven

**We were gifted a copy by the author in exchange for an honest opinion**
Audrey was in an accident that killed her father. Her and her mother moved away. She moves back to start college with her friends. She tries to keep to herself. She doesn't want to run into Asher, a boy who broke her heart.
Asher did not have a normal childhood. With his brother leaving and his mother dying, he is left to deal with his abusive father.
This is not your typical love story where its all lovey dovey and roses! This is the exact opposite!
From the first page, I couldn't help but be drawn in. I have never read a book by this author, but let me just say, that she DID NOT disappoint!! The things that poor Asher had to deal with literally broke my heart!!! I felt for him! It was such a shame to what he had to endure. He never told anyone. His best friend Zane was always there for him but he never said a word.
I am really looking forward to reading more about Zane. I kinda have a crush on him!!
I am glad that Audrey got over the fact that nothing was Asher's fault! She seemed selfish to me at first.
I think that the author did a really good job! I am really looking forward to reading more about the crew!!!
